Bishop Soto to preside at Mass Oct. 6 celebrating 50th anniversary of Presentation Parish in Sacramento
Bishop Jaime Soto will preside at a Vigil Mass on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 5:30 p.m. at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Sacramento to join parishioners past and present in the 50th anniversary of the parish, located at 4123 Robertson Ave.
A dinner and dance will follow the Mass, beginning at 6:30 p.m. On Sunday, Oct. 7, the parish will host a fun family day with games, food and special events. The parish is located in northeast Sacramento near Carmichael and has many ministries that allow for spiritual growth and participation in faith community, as well as Presentation School, which is also celebrating its 50th year, staffed by the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. Father Jeremy Leatherby is the pastor.
