Benjamin Glenn to speak Sept. 21 on 'Reflections on a Journey to the Catholic faith' at Sacramento Catholic Forum

Benjamin Glenn, one of the Silicon Valley’s top intellectual property attorneys, will speak on Friday, Sept. 21 at the Sacramento Catholic Forum luncheon event at the Woodlake Hotel, located at 500 Leisure Lane.

The topic of his talk will be “My Catholic Windshield is Bigger than my Southern Baptist Rearview Mirror: Reflections on a Journey to the Catholic faith.” Glenn will blend history, Scripture and humor in his talk to inspire others to find joy in daily personal faith formation. He will also offer some practical tips for making the most of the Year of Faith.

Glenn was born in Midland, Texas and grew up as a Southern Baptist. He entered the U.S. Naval Academy and serve in the Navy, then moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. A graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law, he has worked in two national law firms and as a patent counsel for a Fortune 500 company. In 2006, he converted to Catholicism and founded his own law firm, Shay-Glenn LLP.
