Sister Glenda to perform in concert on Aug. 21 at Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, event of Radio Santisimo Sacramento

Singer and songwriter Sister Glenda Aguayo will perform during an event of prayer, worship and singing to Our Lady of Guadalupe, to be held on Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m.

The event, sponsored by the diocese’s Spanish-language radio station, Radio Santisimo Sacramento, will be held at the Shrine at Our Lady of Guadalupe at 1909 Seventh St. in Sacramento.

Sister Glenda is well-known for her spiritual retreats and concerts in the United States, Latin America, Italy and Spain. Her Scripture reflections, set to music, inspire and motivate audiences. In 2002, she performed “Nada Es Imposible Para Ti (Nothing is Impossible for You)” for Pope John Paul II during World Youth Day in Toronto.
