Office of Priestly and Religious Vocations offers discernment days for young men considering priesthood

The Diocese of Sacramento’s Office of Priestly and Religious Vocations is offering two days of discernment for young men ages 16 to 30 who are considering the priesthood.

The days will be a special opportunity for interaction with diocesan seminarians, the celebration of Mass, eucharistic adoration, lunch and time for questions.

Both days of discernment will be held at Vianney House of Discernment in Sacramento. There is no cost to attend. The day in Spanish will be held on Saturday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and in English on Saturday, Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There is limited capacity, so young men interested in attending one of the retreats should RSVP to the Office of Priestly and Religious Vocations at (916) 733-0258 or send an e-mail inquiry to considerpriesthood@scd.org.
