William Cox, president and CEO of the Alliance of Catholic Health Care, to speak at Sacramento Catholic Forum luncheon on July 20
William J. Cox (in photo at left), president and CEO of the Sacramento-based Alliance of Catholic Health Care, will speak at the Sacramento Catholic Forum luncheon on Friday, July 20 at the Woodlake Hotel, located at 500 Leisure Lane.
The topic of his talk will be “Sustaining Catholic Health Care in an Era of Deficits and Debt.” During his more than 30 years in Catholic health care at the state and national levels, Cox has worked to sustain Catholic health care as an extension of the healing ministry of Jesus. He believes strongly that this mission is critical to the life the church in the United States, to the larger society, and most important, to the patients, families and communities Catholic health care serves.
The Alliance is a statewide forum in which California Catholic health care leaders collaborate to strengthen and promote the Catholic mission in health care by engaging in leadership formation, church relations, ethics and advocacy.
Check in begins at 11:30 a.m. with the luncheon following at noon. The cost is $30 if prepaid online or $40 at the door. For more information and to pay online visit the Sacramento Catholic Forum website at http://www.saccatholicforum.org.
