Hey thanks for doing that, Josh! I really appreciate that! Very well done too! Things are moving along - slowly but surely! Thanks again for the continued support.

I posted about the Facebook App on Catholic Tech Tips today (http://catholictechtips.stblogs.com/2009/01/06/simple-but-useful-flocknote-facebook-app/)

Well, now that I know that you can bookmark apps, I went back through some of the other apps I've installed and bookmarked them as well. I think I will post about this on Catholic Tech Tips next week if I have time. Good to know. Thanks : )

Yeah, facebook developers have been complaining for months and months about how there is no auto-book mark function.

There isn't even a function to prompt the user to bookmark it!

So the result is that users load an app once, and then can never figure out how to get back to it! Pretty frustrating. The best option right now is to just try and tell and instruct the user to bookmark it.

There we go! *I forgot to bookmark the flockNote app by clicking "Bookmark flockNote..." on the bottom menu bar. Much better!

Yep, it's pretty basic right now. It essentially just allows us to link your flocknote account with your facebook account.

The Facebook app will give you your "My Notes" view.

But mainly it will enable your "Facebook notifications" option when you subscribe to a feed. So you will get a facebook notification the next time somebody posts a note on that feed.

The main limitation right now is that facebook only allows Apps to send a max of 7 notifications to a user over a 7 day period. So as long as you aren't getting a lot of notes through facebook, then it should work fine.

If you try it out, I'd love to know what you think...

I noticed that you added a Facebook App. How does it work? Or is it not working yet? God Bless.
