Are you using flockNote!? Let us know how!
We've just slightly improved the look and feel of flockNote.com. We hope you like it. We also added a "My Diocese" and "My Parish" link at the top of your page that takes you directly to your Diocese and Parish pages (also new).
These pages give the user an easy way to view all of the feeds in their parish or diocese.
Please keep up the excellent feedback. It's helping us to continue improving flockNote for you.
God bless!
Matthew Warner, founder of flockNote, was on the Son Rise Morning Show with Brian Patrick this morning talking about flockNote.com and TweetCatholic.
This radio show is syndicated across over 100 Catholic radio stations. Hopefully we'll get a good response!
Founder of flockNote, Matthew Warner, was invited Wednesday to be a guest on the popular XM/Sirius (The Catholic Channel) radio show, "The Catholics Next Door" by Greg and Jennifer Willits.
He was invited to talk about the impact of flockNote.com and TweetCatholic.com (a flockNote sister website) within the Catholic community. You can check out Matthew on Greg and Jennifer's "Recent Guest" pages here.
While we've had a number groups from various dioceses from around the country sign up on flockNote - this is our first Bishop to get on board. We are very pleased and honored to have Bishop Brown and his diocese using flockNote.
And we commend Ryan Lilyengren, Director of Communications for the Diocese of Orange, for having the insight and acumen to recognize the power of flockNote and work towards using it to improve Catholic communication within their diocese.
We look forward to working with the Diocese of Orange as they help blaze the trail to a new era of digital communication within the Catholic Church.
Last month flockNote made it as the "featured website" on CathNewsUSA.com. That's pretty cool.
Check it out!
Matthew Warner - founder of flockNote.com - was recently interviewed by Chris Cash on his Catholic Spotlight podcast.
You can listen here!
We just added a new feature on flockNote where you can attach files to notes that you send. Now you don't have to have attachments cluttering up your email inbox and you can still download them from directly within your email notes.
This is great for groups that need to share documents and other files with each other. You can have them all for reference and download in one easy place in your flockNote feed.
And now every parish can just attach their Sunday bulletin to a note and easily blast it out to their parish subscribers. The applications are endless. Try it out!
We just recently released a new video that gives the bigger vision of how flockNote can help you in your Catholic community.
You can see it by going here.
Now you don't have to try and explain in words how awesome flockNote is - you can just share this video with every Catholic you know. We hope it helps!
The patron saint of flockNote will be the Archangel Gabriel.
He announced to Mary the Incarnation. Pretty cool. And he is appropriately named a patron saint of communication.
The purpose of flockNote is to help Catholics better communicate. We ask St. Gabriel to pray for us as we serve this purpose the best we can.

We've gotten a number of mentions and reviews of flockNote.com on the web recently. Pretty cool!
One is from Lisa Hendey's "Catholic Moments" podcast from CatholicMom.com. Here is the link to the show.
And we had a great review from the Catholic Tech Tips blog as well.
If you find anything else out there or if you link to flockNote, please let us know so we can recognize you!
Now flockNote can be used to build subscribers of flockNote members and ALSO non-members.
In other words, people can just stick a link on their website for anyone to subscribe to their Notes. Then subscribers can either join flockNote and take full advantage of all features - or, if they don't want to sign up all the way, they can just enter and confirm their email address as a subscriber to that particular feed. Notes will be emailed to them just like other subscribers.
So essentially, flockNote can now act as simply a basic mailing list manager for you. But then gives the additional features for members of replying, controlling how they receive their notes(web, email, txt), and managing multiple feed subscriptions all at once.
We are now running a beta version of flockNote.com. That basically means that it works, but we are still tweaking it and fixing bugs. :-)
So please give us feedback as to what you like, don't like, or any problems you find.
Hope you enjoy the site!
This is where we will be posting any news or updates regarding www.flocknote.com. Currently, flockNote is under construction and will be opened up as a public Beta on Oct. 7, 2008.
